We’re Pampering the moms in the NICU at Oishei for Mother’s Day & We’d love your help!!

Spread the love

We are celebrating Mother’s Day by celebrating some very special moms!

We met recently with staff at Oishei Children’s Hospital to talk about their needs and some ideas to help out.  So we are hitting the ground running! It all fits in nicely to our charity, Totally Buffalo’s Hope for the Holidays! We’re talking about Mother’s Day – a special holiday indeed!

We are told that the moms in the neonatal intensive care unit are often times the forgotten crew. Their babies are top priority – obviously – but we also have to remember how difficult it must be for them, too. Things didn’t go as planned. They thought they would be home cuddling their baby in their own home – not visiting them all day and night in the hospital.  We want to help them feel like they are not alone – we want to pamper them a bit and really just let them know we care!!

We hope you would like to help us with that!!

Here’s our plan:

We’ve made an Amazon wish list of items the experts say will be great for these moms – here is the link to the AMAZON WISH LIST.

You can also help with a donation – which we will use for this same mission right now – including getting each mom a git card for Tim Hortons in case she’d like to grab a coffee and pastry!

Here is a link for a monetary donation:  totallybuffalohopefortheholidays.org
