Meet sweet J’Mari. This adorable little boy has been through so much.
JJ was diagnosed with Alagille Syndrome – which is a genetic disorder that can affect multiple organs. JJ’s liver & heart are affected. His skin & eyes have always been yellow.
JJ and his family take trips back & forth from Buffalo to Pittsburgh frequently and the sweetie is on 12 medications a day. JJ itches uncontrollably at times, he scratches till he leaves marks or is bleeding. He’s on 3 different medications for itching but as he grows his itch increases & it’s at a point the meds don’t help.
Now – the news they’ve been waiting for. JJ has been approved for a liver transplant and is officially on the list waiting for a donor!!
