It’s time!

The Sanborn Sunflower Field is ready for another amazing season!

Chad and Louise Brachmann started the field a few years ago on a whim, “It started out as just something colorful instead of a bare field with weeds growing in it, so my wife Louise decided she wanted to plant sunflowers so we did.”

What happened next was quite an incredible surprise! Folks flocked to the fields, thousands of people – taking pictures and taking time to stop and smell the flowers.

It is stunning!

Like everything else this summer -things will be different.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES:

All staff and visitors must wear a mask at all times.

Practice social distancing wherever possible.

All chairs and tables are sanitized regularly.

Only members of the same party can sit at the tables.

Cutters are sanitized after every use, but you can bring your own tools if you want.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been around someone who has COVID-19 they ask that you not come to the field and put others at risk.

The field is on the corner of Baer Road and Saunders Settlement Road in Sanborn. Chad and Louise just love and appreciate the joy their field brings to so many.

So, get those favorite outfits ready and charge up your camera because six acres of bright, bold, beautiful sunflowers will be standing tall right next to you!  The field opens August 1st!!!!
