Knowledge is power – and the more your read or are read to – the more you will know!

Our friends at Start With Sleep know that and that’s why they’re starting a super-cool event.  Start With Sleep Story Time For Kids is a special series of monthly events for the children, parents, and families of Western New York.

It will take place the first Saturday in June, July and August!

Start With Sleep Story Time For Kids will feature popular national children’s authors sharing their newest releases, along with an interactive activity related to the theme of their new book, helping us to place the spotlight on children’s literacy in Western New York, while also highlighting the importance of how reading with your kids helps them to grow and thrive and sharing how story time with your children assists in creating healthy sleep patterns.

New York Times best-selling children’s author and mindfulness instructor, Susan Verde, will kick off the first Start With Sleep Story Time For Kids! Verde will read her best-selling I Am children’s book series, I Am Human: A Book of Empathy, and also why children need to act with compassion and empathy towards themselves and others.

The hour-long event is free and open to everyone and anyone!

Start With Sleep is located at 1211 Hertel Avenue in Buffalo!
