Purses for PUNT – An amazing fundraiser for an amazing charity – Here’s what you need to know!
The P.U.N.T foundation has been helping children with cancer and their families since 2004. Yep, for 16 years, this organization has been helping local families deal with pediatric cancer. The nonprofit was founded by NFL Pro Bowl punter, Brian Moorman, who played for the Buffalo Bills from 2001-2013, and his wife Amber. They wanted to make a difference for WNY kids – and boy did they.
P.U.N.T. stands for Perseverance, Understanding, Need and Triumph. They provide families with financial and emotional support. They help these families from diagnosis to recovery and bereavement.
The folks at P.U.N.T have helped many of our friends and we couldn’t be more grateful.
They do a lot and obviously can’t do it alone. They need our help. Help from the community. So – here’s a great way to get involved!
A fundraiser is coming up – it’s called Purses for P.U.N.T. – a yearly fundraiser that sells new or gently used designer handbags. It’s an evening of fun, a live band, a wine pull, bourbon tastings, hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, basket raffle, silent auction, various vendors as well as lots of purses for sale! We love purses!!!!
All of the money goes to help local children dealing with cancer – and their families.
So – what can you do?
- They’d love any basket raffle donations.
- They need wine and liquor for their wine pull.
- They need donations of new or gently used handbags and wallets.
- Donations of gift cards.
WHAT: Purses for PUNT
WHEN: March 20th at 7 pm
WHERE: Brookfield Country Club, 5120 Shimerville Rd., Clarence
WHAT TO EXPECT: Live music, a wine pull, bourbon tastings, hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, basket raffle, silent auction, various vendors as well as lots of purses for sale! We love purses!!!!
