Tammy Lewenicht is a single mom of 6-year old Genevieve.
She has been diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer – Stage 3 Carcinoma with Sarcoma. As you can imagine, it’s been a very tough road for this young mom.
Tammy also lost her main support system in 2018, both her parents. She also cares for her special needs uncle. Tammy’s brother, Tom has stepped up and has been a great support for her and her daughter.
Tammy just finished 7 weeks of agonizing radiation treatment and chemotherapy. She is on a 6 week break before starting another round of chemotherapy.
Friends and family members are holding a benefit to help Tammy with any financial burdens she may face.
The benefit is Sunday, March 31st from 2pm-6pm at the Ironworkers Hall at 196 Orchard Park Road in West Seneca.
Tickets are $20 each which includes pizza, beer, pop and desserts. There will be live music, a chinese auction and more.
