Yep, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Sort of.
I mean, except for the sun and blue skies.
It’s okay, that’s what special effects are for, right!!!? East Aurora is the setting for a new Christmas movie shoot.
And, let’s be honest – East Aurora is the perfect setting for any Christmas movie.
It’s so quaint and beautiful and Christmas-y.
Just a few years ago, “A Prince for Christmas” was filmed in the Village of East Aurora and surrounding areas. It was an adorable Hallmark movie – sweet, romantic, cheesy. Just how we like them!
Well, Hollywood is back – this time to shoot, “A Special Christmas Dinner.”
Fred and Chris Olen Ray, Director and Producer, are back in town to shoot this latest movie.
Merchants on Main Street in the Village of East Aurora were asked to put up their holiday decorations and it looks like many did. The shoot, around the area and inside Vidler’s – meant a bit of a detour for motorists as part of Main Street was blocked off – but not really any big inconvenience.
Speaking of Vidler’s – they were decked out and clearly in the spirit.
We watched this same scene as it was shot several times under the Vidler’s awning. In the bright sunlight. Without any snow. At all. It will be cool to see what it looks like once it hits the small screen!
SPOILER ALERT!!!
We found a clue as to how the movie will play out – like we couldn’t have guessed the ending. 🙂
No word on when the movie will air – but we will let you know when we know!
