It is a sort of payback we knew was coming, but it really is something quite special. This is the definition of paying it forward. It’s called the Giveback to Buffalo Initiative.
JJ Dalton, wife of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, and board members of the Andy & JJ Dalton Foundation have made a donation to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Pediatric Department and the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation’s Angel Fund, which provides grants to families that helps alleviate financial burdens during their cancer journey.
The donations are a way to thank the Buffalo community, which donated more than $400,000 to the Foundation in January after Andy Dalton and the Bengals helped send the Buffalo Bills to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.
You can tell from listening to the Dalton’s speaking that they are blown away by this city’s generosity. It’s proof – once again – that Buffalo is the city of good neighbors. Jordan Dalton holds back tears as she thanks the generous people of Buffalo.
Andy Dalton telling the crowd, “We want to be the light in a time of darkness for families.”
Besides making a donation to the Angel Fund, the AJD Foundation  is also donating The Andy and JJ Dalton Hub, which will hold iPads, Nintendo Switches, and more for children at our Pediatric Center.
Dalton also passed out signed footballs to some pediatric cancer patients. 🙂
Boy, that touchdown pass is the gift that just keeps on giving!!!
Bills fans donate big money to Andy Dalton’s charity – and he is very grateful!
