IT HAPPENED! The Bills End 18-year playoff drought …

It was a nail biter to the end! But, Buffalo pulled it off and then the Bengals did their part!

Unbelievable…

It’s been a while!

We partied like it was 1999 – because it was 1999.

The last time the Buffalo Bills were in the playoffs, Bill Clinton was President.

There was no Facebook.

No iPhone.

No Netflix.

We were on AOL dial-up and instant messenger.

The last time the Bills made the playoffs, Doug Flutie was benched for Rob Johnson (omg, remember that?). Andre’ Reed, Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith were all playing. Wade Phillips was head coach.

We were in Tennessee – oh, just thinking about that home run throwback makes my stomach hurt. We lost to the Titans and our collective hearts were broken.

Broken.

The last time we were in the playoffs was 1999.

But, guess what – we are BACK, baby.The Bills did it. They did it for all of their incredible fans – who stood by them, who believed, who prayed – who never gave up. Okay, maybe for a minute or two every now and then… but in general – no.

They did it.

It’s the dawn of a new day!

And the Buffalo Bills are going to the playoffs.

It makes me think of three true Billievers who aren’t here to see it … Ralph Wilson, Tim Russert and my dad.

We made it, guys!
