It’s been quite a year for the City of Tonawanda Professional Firefighters.
Not only have they been out fighting fires, helping victims of car accidents and saving lives… they’ve also been extremely active in their community.
Members have spent countless hours helping organizations and families.
Here’s a glimpse of what they’ve done…
Members conducted two boot drives for MDA– raising an amazing $18,104! They also worked with the Salvation Army in December, filing over 200 food boxes. Those boxes were distributed to families in need so they could enjoy a holiday meal.
And there’s much more. They brought Christmas to a family in need, held a golf tournament to raise money for sick children and donated to many other charities throughout the year.
They’re sharing this information – not to get a pat on the back – but to let folks know they are there for their community. They are extremely proud to be able to help others – every day of the year.
