The folks at Buffalo Pugs and Small Breed Rescue need help.  They recently rescued a large group of huskies and it turns out, one of those puppies is very sick. The folks at the rescue are asking for donations in order to help the sick pup.

Here’s what they’ve posted.

*** EDITED TO ADD CURRENT ESTIMATES, INVOICE AND PIC OF OUR SWEET APOLLO AT THE ER CLINIC***

EMERGENCY! One of our newly rescued husky pups Apollo has an intestinal blockage requiring immediate surgery. He is on his way to the Emergency Clinic right now.

We will spare nothing to save him, which also means it can leave us with little to no funds left for other vet bills or emergencies.

Donations are needed immediately to save this boy’s young life. If you can help Apollo, please send donations via PayPal using address rescue@buffalopugs.org

Checks can be mailed to our Adoption Center at
775 Niagara Falls Blvd
Amherst, NY 14226

At Buffalo Pugs, we try to manage our expenses with our local events and adoption fees as best we can without constantly asking our supporters for financial donations. In an emergency like this one, we are forced to seek outside help because emergency care is so extremely expensive. We are always humbled and grateful for our community’s support.

We will update as we can.

This group does a lot of great work, so please help if you can.

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
