Get those shovels ready – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning.Â
A Winter Storm Warning is in place for Southern Erie, Wyoming, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties until 5 a.m. Saturday – where we could see 10 or so inches of snowfall. Winds will gust to as high as 40 mph, causing blowing and drifting snow – which will reduce visibility.
From the NWS: “Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute. Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times.”
