This is just amazing.
And considering the 26.7% poverty rate in Niagara Falls – it’s much needed, too. So many families struggling, doing their best – but in need of a bit of help.
The teachers and staff at Niagara Falls High School have done something wonderful. They’ve donated personal items and clothing to the Wolverine Closet. The closet is there for students to shop at no cost. If any students need a little pick me up with a new outfit, or some personal items – they can shop at the closet on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. They do not need any money – just a pass from a teacher!
This may seem like a small thing – but, a new outfit, shoes, or something a student might really need – can have a profound impact on that student.
Way to go, Niagara Falls High School teachers and staff! We hope other schools follow your lead.
