Katie Jo Perry is a beautiful young mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend.

She has been battling cancer since 2016 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Katie underwent 16 rounds of chemotherapy before having a double mastectomy. After the surgery it was determined that the cancer had spread to Katie’s lymphnodes and she was in stage 3. It was an unbelievable fight and after 33 rounds of radiation – it was determined that there was no cancer in her body.

Sadly, in March of 2018 after being cancer free for more than a year, a scan concluded that the cancer had returned in her left atrium, bones, lungs, skin, and lymphnodes. After more rounds of chemotherapy doctors have determined that the cancer is no longer responding to chemotherapy and is spreading.

The only hope they have for her now his treating her pain and discomfort through hospice.

Family and friends hope to offer some financial stability for Katie, her husband, and two kids, Kameron and Easton.

If you would like to help this family – here is a link to their Gofundme page –https://www.gofundme.com/5t2rj8g

We are sending prayers and love to Katie and her family and friends.

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
