It’s been a very long haul for Lynn Nicpon.
The 24-year old has been battling cancer for nearly three years. Doctors found a mass on her lung back in 2019 – and Lynn was eventually diagnosed with Neuroblastoma – a type of pediatric cancer that develops in the nervous system.
After undergoing countless treatments for years, this young mom was recently told there was nothing more that can be done.
Lynn is facing end-stage cancer.
Lynn, a 2015 graduate of Hutch Tech is mom to a beautiful little boy.
    Â
Now, Lynn and Tracy, who came from Florida to help care for her daughter, are working on preparing 3-year-old Sazileo for a possible life without his mommy. With no father in the picture, it is Tracy who is preparing to care for her grandson even as she prays for a miracle.
So much is weighing heavily on Tracy – her daughter’s health, her grandson’s future, and how she is going to pay for any funeral service once things take a turn.
That is where we come in.
Our friends over at PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative called to ask if Totally Buffalo Cares can help this young mother and her family. Of course, we will. This beautiful West Seneca family should not have to worry about finances right now. We’ve vowed to not only raise enough for the funeral, but also some to help care for Sazileo.
None of this is fair. It’s heartbreaking to think about such a horrific loss. For Lynn, her biggest fear is not having something to leave for her son’s future.
