Lions and Tigers and Bears… oh my!
It was a pretty darn good year for the Buffalo Zoo – with 538,100 visitors in 2016! That’s up more than 50,000 from 2015 and the highest number since 1987. There’s just no doubt about it – the birth of the African Lion Cubs had to be a big reason.
But, lets face it – the zoo has plenty of favorites, including the adorable Polar Bear, Luna!
This year, they’ve had some great reasons to visit – including the birth of Nico the ocelot, and of course – the big date of Luna and Sakari over Valentine’s Day Weekend.
Hey, they don’t call themselves the wildest place in town for no reason.
The Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. And, as a reminder – admission is just $5 every day through the end of February.
Last year is the first year, I got a yearly pass, And it sure did pay for itself… We went at least one/ two times a week. Packed. Lunch and cold drinks… bought ice cream as a treat.. Grand daughter loved it.. we were not the least bit bored last summer!!!!
