It’s a tough and challenging time for so many around this community, state, nation and world. There are huge problems like sickness and death. Many are out of work, out of money and running out of food.
It’s a lot to comprehend.
There are also smaller issues that are tough to take.
Little things – in comparison but still really difficult for many.
From birthdays, weddings, showers, festivals, concerts and many other activities and events that have been canceled or postponed. This includes proms and graduations. These things that would have meant so much are not happening this year. At least not at this point.
For some – it means simply changing things up and doing the best we can with what we have!
Take for example – the folks in the Cattaraugus County community of Salamanca!! The city and school district have teamed up to put huge banners with the names and photos of the graduating class of 2020 on poles along Broad Street in Salamanca!
What an awesome idea! The district posted about it on Facebook:Â
“Hey Warrior Nation! Take a leisurely drive down Broad St and notice from Cleo St to Fern Ave the Class of 2020 banners are now on display for all to see!
Thank you to Mrs. Dry and Mrs. Breazeale who printed and put together each banner and to our maintenance staff for hanging each of them up!
#Classof2020 #WarriorNation”
Congratulations to all graduates!!!!
