There are SO MANY amazing stories about local folks and businesses stepping up and helping out whoever and however they can. I could literally spend the entire day writing about all of them. I wish I could!
Instead, I’ll focus on two that made me feel incredibly proud today – proud to live in Western New York.
First up …
D & T Graphics in Lockport. These folks have actually changed what they do – changed the production of their apparel – in order to make much needed masks! How awesome is this!?!?
“We have changed our production of apparel over to making masks for the next week. We hope to have few boxes ready to go in the coming days. These will be available to everyone at no cost. Stay safe everyone!”

Something else that caught my eye – was this post about RedHouse Tattoo! They’ve donated masks, gloves and surface disinfectant wipes to the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital! For Darryl and Jessica Rocha, owners of RedHouse, not helping wasn’t an option: “It was simply the right thing to do. All medical staff are currently doing all they can to help people who really need their help. They should not be doing so at the risk of their own health. At the moment our shop is closed until further notice and all of the items we donated would just be sitting on our shelves. At least now they are in the hands of the people who really need them and have supported us during simpler times. This is a problem that affects us all and we were happy to help in any way that we could.”
