It is with great sadness that we share the news that Sebastian Bradley has passed away.

Sebastian Bradley turned ten last Sunday. He was a courageous little boy who faced cancer with grace. He died surrounded by his family.

Sebastian was an inspiration to many in the community.  On his birthday, The Peace Bridge Authority celebrated and honored the young boy’s life by lighting the beautiful bridge in orange; a color that has become a symbol of Sebastian’s battle. Family and friends have encouraged those in the community to use orange bulbs on the outside of their home and shine bright for Sebastian.

So, of course the community has done that. They’re helping in any way they can.

They’ve rallied around the courageous boy as he battled terminal brain cancer. They’ve given to Sebastian’s Lego Club, allowing him to donate hundreds of Lego sets to Oishei Children’s Hospital.  Sebastian wanted to do something for other sick children and is extremely proud of what has happened.

This past Christmas, the community helped cheer him up by sending cards for what his mother said would be his last Christmas.

The family received hundreds of beautiful cards.

Strangers have sent money, gift cards and toys for the young boy.

Sebastian’s mother has been overwhelmed by the support and love.

One of Sebastian’s favorite character’s is Batman – and Buffalo’s Best Batman (read more about him here) was nice enough to send a very special message to Sebastian. You can watch it by clicking the link.   IMG_4279

Sebastian was a little boy who leaves quite a big legacy behind. We will do what we can to help keep Sebastian’s Lego Club going strong.

We send deep condolences and prayers to Sebastian’s family and friends.

God Bless Sebastian. #Sebastianshines #Sebastianstrong

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
