New York State Police put these photos out – and wow, are they scary!

A School bus fully engulfed in flames. According to the NYSP post, three children and bus driver in the Pioneer School District, evacuated without any injuries. Possible engine issue may be the cause.

Statement from Pioneer CSD: “This morning on Townline Road in Machias, three students and a driver were unhurt when the First Student bus they were in caught fire. Those in the bus escaped out the rear exit after the driver noticed sparking from the engine compartment. Everybody is safe. The incident is under investigation.”

Great work by the driver and students getting off the bus!

I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
