Christina Cameron’s life has been turned upside down. This woman, who has had more than her share of heartache after losing her 9-year-old daughter in July, is now watching as her daughter fights for her life.

Jessica Cameron was the victim of a horrific domestic violence attack at a Tonawanda Tim Horton’s on Monday afternoon. According to police, a man threw flammable liquid on Jessica and set her on fire. Christina says her daughter is in critical condition and fighting for her life. She tells me the entire incident is a nightmare and she truly appreciates all of the thoughts, prayers and community support that she has been getting. She welcomes all of it, “Please pray for us. Formy Jessica, for her beautiful boys, for her siblings, her grandparents, her nieces and nephews, her many family and friends. This is going to be a very long road.”

Right now Jessica is in critical condition on a ventilator and will undergo a series of surgeries over the next few days.

Christina wants to share her daughter’s story and will – when the time is right. She’s asked me to pass that along and let you know that she will update us as soon as more details become available.

Christina has asked me to, “Share my daughter’s beautiful face.” And so, of course, we are.

A donation drive is being set up to collect pajamas, diapers and other necessities for Jessica’s three boys who are now being cared for by Christina. More details to come on that very soon.

Christina says there is a lot of misinformation and wrong information out there and she will be setting the record straight so stay tuned to Totally Buffalo.

Please keep this beautiful young woman in your prayers and please help if you can.

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
