Update: one confirmed fatality in the accident.
The Lancaster Office of Emergency Management says there is an accident on the I-90 in Lancaster with dozens of vehicles involved.
All lanes are closed at exit 50 to 49 for the crash.
New York State police officials confirm there are injuries reported.
County EMS and NYS EMS have been activated to assist. There are reportedly a number of vehicles required extrication.
