Local couple – who’ve gone through so much – hoping to win wedding of their dreams.

Full disclosure – I am VERY close to this story.

I am an open book. I write the good, the bad and the tragic when it comes to my family.

Sometimes it drives my husband nuts.

But he loves me.

I’ve shared so much of our lives – from the time when my big girls – Alexa and Maria – were little girls and I was a morning reporter for WGRZ.  I shared milestones, my divorce, meeting Scott and Maria’s accident and recovery. All of it.

I shared my pregnancy when Emma was on the way. It’s been a complete joy to do so. I left my anchor/reporter job when I was pregnant with Ella – but I never stopped sharing. I shared my pregnancy journey – our move to East Aurora, my journey with Totally Buffalo, when Maria met her Mercy Flight heroes, the loss of my dad and so much more. Recently I shared that I was becoming a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy. Well, he’s here! Lincoln is just the sweetest, most adorable little guy and we all are completely smitten!

Now, I’m sharing the fact that Maria and her fiancé are in the running to win a wedding of their dreams in a contest through Salvatore’s Hospitality!  It would be amazing to watch all their dreams come true.
