Buffalo’s own Jessie Pegula set to take on Serena Williams in the Auckland Open

Jessie Pegula – daughter of Bills and Sabres owners, Terry and Kim Pegula, will take on Serena Williams in the Auckland Open final Saturday night! In a two-hour match – Jessie defeated Caroline Wozniacki – a former world champ – to get to the finals.

You can watch the match tonight on the Tennis Channel at 11 pm!

According to the World Tennis Association, the 25-year-old – who started playing tennis when she was just 7-years-old – has won nearly one million dollars in prize money during her career!

Good luck, Jessie!!!  We’re cheering you on!!
