Jonah is a kind, funny, and creative 3 year old from Buffalo. The adorable little guy with the contagious smile was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, an incredibly rare and aggressive form of pediatric cancer.
As we can all imagine, it’s been a difficult time for Jonah and his parents, Tori and Henry; forced to learn what they can, as quickly as they can, about childhood cancer.
Friends and family are hoping to take some of the burden off the young family and allow them to concentrate on what’s most important: their son. A Gofundme page has been set up and says in part, “Jonah has just embarked on an aggressive 18-month treatment plan with the support of his parents and a team of doctors and experts. However, Tori and Henry are facing mounting expenses and the need to take considerable time off from their jobs, some of which may need to be unpaid leave. Let’s provide some peace of mind for Tori and Henry as they support their little guy on this journey. Not only do they need to be able to leave work at a moment’s notice if Jonah’s hemoglobin levels drop suddenly or he gets an infection, but there are major in-patient hospital stays in his treatment plan that will require significant time off.”
The fact is – while parents care for their sick children, mortgage payments and living expenses still need to be paid. Medical expenses mount. Most folks need help. Every bit makes a difference. Here is a link to the family’s GoFundMe Page:
