This looks super cool!

The Aquarium of Niagara announced this week that funding for “Aliens of the Sea” is complete thanks to the generosity of a $100,000 grant awarded by the East Hill Foundation

“The East Hill Foundation is delighted to support the Aquarium of Niagara,” says Ken Dulian, Executive Director. “The Aquarium is a WNY cultural staple and we are excited to be a part of their growth and future successes.”

“We are very grateful to the East Hill Foundation for their considerable generosity,” said Gary Siddall, Executive Director. “The success and continuation of our next wave of improvements is dependent on the ongoing support from the community.”

The new $477,000 jellyfish exhibit is scheduled to open in early 2019, and will include 5 displays featuring 4 different species of jellyfish as well as hands on interactives. This is the first time jellyfish will be added to the Aquarium’s collection, and will provide visitors the unique chance to discover all there is to know about these beautiful creatures.

“Aliens of the Sea” is presented by Key Bank in partnership with the First Niagara Foundation, and supported by the WNY Regional Economic Development Council.

The Aquarium of Niagara is located at 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls.

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
