For Staff Sergeant, Jordan Kinney – fighting the stigma of mental illness is something that is extremely important to him. He released a powerful video in hopes to save lives. I asked him why he wants to share such a difficult story,
“From 2013 to 2014 I lost 15 people in my life. My father passed away from suicide and my mentor 2 weeks later from suicide. I struggle with mental health issues myself so to bring light to mental health is very important to me. If I can get the word out to people that they are worth it. It might just save a life.”
Staff Sergeant Kinney, 914th Air Refueling Wing, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, New York, shares his own story of extraordinary resilience in overcoming personal obstacles to get his life on the right track.
Please take a few minutes to watch this extraordinary video – of courage, determination, and hope.
