It looks like the forecast is getting a bit worse for today and into tomorrow!
So, here’s the deal from the National Weather Service – which has changed a bit over the past 12 hours.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for all of Western New York from 7 p.m. Thursday through 1 p.m. Friday. Heavy snow is possible with snow accumulations of 8 to 14 inches in Erie, Niagara, Genesee and Wyoming Counties. 6-12 inches for Cattaraugus, Allegany and Chautauqua Counties.
Difficult travel conditions are possible, including during the morning commute on Friday. Gusty winds and wet snow could cause tree branches to fall. Significant reductions in visibility are possible. According to the NWS “Travel will be difficult to impossible, including during the morning commute on Friday.”
So there you go; just what you wanted to hear, right!?
