New bride battling cancer, in NYC for treatment, gets sweet surprise from hotel management.

Spread the love
Oh, we just love this couple.
We first told you all about Jillian and Dan Dombrowski in February as part of our Valentine’s Day love story series!
Jill and Dan recently had the wedding of their dreams. A beautiful couple. A beautiful celebration of love and life.
But, behind the love, behind the smiles and laughs,  Jill has endured countless medical appointments the same week in order to continue her 6-year battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC).
There is no cure and treatment options remain limited for this type of carcinoma.
So Jill has to fight every step of the way to be brave and try new treatment options her doctors come up with.  She tries whatever might help. Even through her own pain and suffering, she’s always helping
Right now Jill is in New York City undergoing tests and treatments. She always seems to make the best of the situation, always fighting with grace and determination.

She posted a picture that stuck with me. Jillian and her husband, Dan are staying at the Roosevelt and she posted this picture saying, “What a nice surprise back at the hotel! They know we are here for cancer treatment and sent us this fabulous breakfast from the manager! I can’t wait to dig in.” What a wonderful thing to do!

Jill has undergone multiple surgeries and an intensive radiation schedule that caused permanent side effects. Now, she’s been accepted into a clinical trial in New York City. Jill will be traveling from Buffalo to NYC several times per month. She is on leave from work and medical costs are mounting for this newly married couple.

She needs our help.

Jill is such a sweet woman – who only wants to live a happy life with her Mister Right.

There is a gofund me page – please help if you can. Here is the link. GOFUNDME LINK.
