The End of an Era. After 35 years, The Italian Fisherman is closing

Spread the love

They’ve been a staple of Bemus Point for decades, but tonight there is word that The Italian Fisherman is closing for good.

Located on the beautiful shores of Chautauqua Lake, The Italian Fisherman was a great place to grab a bite to eat on those beautiful summer days. My husband and I brought our girls here many times and always had fun.

The owners of the very popular restaurant posted the following message on their website:

Our Dearest Friends, Loyal Customers and our Amazing “Fish” Staff:

The Italian Fisherman restaurant has officially closed its doors on 61 Lakeside Drive in Bemus Point, NY.

The Dalpra Family wishes to extend our sincerest THANK YOU for your 35 years for continued support
and patronage.

The decades of memories will be held tight in our hearts forever.
Please enjoy all the wonderful memories over the last 35 years on this website.

Stay tuned for the NEW location on the Bemus Bay Pops Program!

Cheers to all of you who helped us fulfill our dream!
Don’t be sad that it’s over, smile because it happened!

Today we move on to an exciting NEW chapter for us all !

Best Wishes,

Dan & Sue Dalpra & Family

We wish them all the best in their next chapter.

Sad that they are closing, however, I’ve purchased $250 in gift cards. How do I get my refund?

I have $200 in gift cards that I bought my husband as an anniversary gift at the end of the season last year. I sure hope I can get a refund.

      Message from Dalpras:
We, however, are happy to refund your purchased gift cards. Please note that cards which were free of charge as part of a purchase bundle or other promotion have no cash value and therefore, will not be rebated.
Purchased cards will be verified by serial number and date of purchase.
Simply mail your cards along with your home address to the below address. Once received and verified as a purchased card(s), rebate checks will be processed and mailed to you. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.

      Mail cards to:

      Italian Fisherman
      PO Box 9250
      Bemus Point, NY. 14712

      Thank you for your patronage!

      Regards,

      Italian Fisherman
