Sometimes life can be so unfair. For Kaylea Collins – that’s certainly been the case. The 19-year old was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma which requires chemotherapy four days a week.
She lives In Boston, NY, about an hour away from Roswell Park, where she has treatments. Kaylea has been relying on her 2003 car to get her back and forth. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, Kaylea was in an accident – she’s okay, the car is not. Kaylea says the timing is awful, “It’s dangerous to drive and barely drives to 60 mph. It’s a struggle to go to appointments at Roswell, work and I’m starting college in the city at Buff State in fall.”
Kaylea has started a GoFundMe to try and raise enough money for a new car. If you can help, please do.
