Lily Gadd had an idea. The young girl wanted to do something amazing and help others. She set a goal – a hefty one – and is of and running to reach it. Lily is raising $5,000 for Mikey’s Way Foundation.
If you’re not familiar with Mikey’s Way – they help children cope with the isolation, boredom and fear associated with life-threatening illnesses. They strive to help children feel connected by giving away all forms of electronics – empowering the children to keep connected and help them keep their minds engaged as they fight their illness.
Lily is teaming up with our friends at The Pink Cow Ice Cream Shop to raise that cash! They are celebrating National Ice Cream Day – by holding an ice cream eating contest and basket raffle. Mark your calendar for July 21st from 2-6 pm as Lily and The Pink Cow go for it and attempt to raise as much money as they can for Mikey’s Way!
They are hoping local businesses will step in and help out. If you would like to donate a basket or gift certificate – you can contact Hanna Ross at The Pink Cow at 716-531-1779 or Lily’s mom, Michelle Gadd at 716-866-8313 to arrange a pick up or drop off.
