I was sent the best message on Wednesday evening!

A message from Kaeden Mitchell’s grandfather, Roy Gregory saying that little Kaeden is headed back to school!

The 7-year-old, who needed more than 400 stitches and staples after being mauled by two dogs – is surely a fighter;  a courageous and tough little guy.

And just look at his smile as he headed off to school – with his sister, Brooklyn . What an incredible moment!

Just a few months ago, this little boy was in the hospital recovering from severe head, neck and facial injuries.

Look at him now! Kaeden is a third grader at Heritage Heights Elementary School where he will no doubt be greeted with love and affection from everyone!

Roy Gregory says they are astounded by his grandson, “We are very proud of the way he handled the whole ordeal.”

We hope Kaeden has an amazing day and year! What an incredible little boy!

By the way, there is a benefit set for Kaeden and his family – here are the details. (We will have much more on this coming up soon!!)

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
