The world-renowned Shen Yun Performing Arts returns to Shea’s on Friday and Saturday, June 10-11, 2022.
Since its establishment in 2006 by a group of leading classical Chinese artists based in North America with the single wish to revive authentic and divinely inspired Chinese culture, SHEN YUN has drawn top artists from around the world and quickly expanded from a single dance company to seven dance companies and orchestras which tour the globe simultaneously.
Through the universal language of dance and music, SHEN YUN weaves a wondrous tapestry of heavenly realms, ancient legends and modern-day epics, bringing long-awaited hope in the wake of the pandemic. Evoking
themes of virtues, compassion, and courage, SHEN YUN leaves audiences uplifted and inspired.
Through breathtaking dance and music, Shen Yun’s artists tell of a time when divine beings walked upon the earth, leaving behind a culture that inspired generations. Ancient Chinese wisdom, infused with Buddhist and Taoist spirituality and values, gave birth to everything from medical innovations to opera, dance, architecture, and even martial arts. But after decades of communist rule, much of this divinely inspired culture has been destroyed or forgotten.
