We were asked to share Kerri Wilson’s story with our audience, and we are more than happy to do so. Of course, we know Kerri’s story is much greater than a few paragraphs. It’s a life lived to the fullest. It’s the story of a mom, a fiance’, a friend, a daughter, and so much more. Right now, focus is on Kerri’s twin girls – and help them get through this tragic and heartbreaking loss.
After years of fertility problems, Kerri gave birth, prematurely, to beautiful twin girls in October 2015. (Emma & Myla are now 2 year old, healthy, happy girls)
Kerri and Frank finally had their perfect family!
However, on April 14, 2016 Kerri was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and was immediately taken to Roswell Park Cancer Institute to begin intensive chemotherapy treatment.
On August 4, 2016 Kerri underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant and that’s when her real journey began. Since then she has had many issuses with GVHD, her new bone marrow was attacking almost every organ in her body.
Last week, Kerri was diagnosed with viral meningitis and was placed in the ICU. She lost her battle on March 6, 2018.
Kerri leaves behind her fiancé, Frank and their twin girls, Emma & Myla. We are setting up this page to help Frank with any expenses he may have so he doesn’t need to worry and can take time to grieve.
