Buffalo Police have announced the city has shut down the Checkmate Bar in Lovejoy (1194 East Lovejoy Street) after a shooting there on Friday night. Police are still investigating the shooting which left one man in critical condition.
Police ask anyone with information to call or text the confidential tipline at 847-2255.
