Buffalo Zoo offers safe trick-or-treating option in early October
It’s unclear if trick-or-treating will take place (fingers are crossed) but – we wanted to let you know there are options. One is the Buffalo Zoo!
The Buffalo Zoo said it is offering a safe way for kids to dress up and get some treats. On a couple Saturdays, October 3 and 10, from 1 to 4 p.m., the zoo will be setting up trick or treating candy stations for kids all around the exhibits.

Gather your little ghosts and goblins and Celebrate Halloween! at the Buffalo Zoo. This safe and spooktacular day at the Zoo features trick-or-treat candy stations (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm), a one-day photo pass, complimentary carousel rides (weather permitting), and Zoo admission. Purchase your tickets today for this frightfully fun, safe, and socially-distanced event designed for the whole family!
Tickets: $12.00 per person for non-members + cost of admission, $10.00 per person for Buffalo Zoo Members (must show Membership card and ID at entry). All children 23 months and under are free.
Ticket Terms and Conditions
THIS EVENT IS HELD RAIN OR SHINE. Tickets are non-transferable. Ticket holders may enter at any time. Each person participating in Celebrate Halloween! activities require a ticket. Tickets will be accepted only for the date purchased. Should a ticket holder be unable to attend, your purchase will be considered a donation; there will be no refunds nor will tickets be honored on another night or year.
