Well it has been a pretty amazing two months. I owe you – yes you – a big thank you! This little blog of mine means a lot to me. I love writing, love telling stories, love hearing stories, and I love meeting people.
So, over the past few months, I’ve written dozens of stories that have focused on good, inspirational things folks are doing. Gosh, there are so many good people in Buffalo and WNY. So many. And I’ve loved every minute of it. I love every minute of it. I appreciate how local journalists have picked up our stories and shared them with their viewers and readers. After all, it’s not about me – it’s about the folks we feature. It’s their story. We just share it. And hope others do, too. So thanks to our media friends.
I’m also impressed with the wonderful small business owners and event planners I’ve met. Mainly women so far. Some super cool women! Women who want to work together, spread kindness, network – it’s amazing because sometimes women get a bad wrap because (some) can be a bit judgmental, jealous, petty and vicious. And while that may be true, it’s not what I’m finding (for the most part -lol).
There are so many creative, smart, lovely women (and yes, men) who bust their butt to support their family, help their community and be the best person they can be! It is great to see – especially as a mom of four girls!
So, that being said – I’m starting to help small businesses with marketing and public relations. Just a few at a time, because between my kids, my husband, grad school, my writing for The Buffalo News and Totally Buffalo – I don’t have too much time!
I am super excited!
My motto is very simple. “Let YOUR STORY help make your business or event a success.” It’s your story – I’m just here to help you tell it! Feel free to email me at email@example.com if you have any questions!
Thank you for your support! 🙂
