It was more than a year ago when we first told you about Brookelin. The young Western New Yorker has been strutting her stuff in the modeling world for years now – and she’s only 13-years-old!

Alicia Patricko says her daughter has had some amazing opportunities – from walking the runway at New York Fashion Week to shooting campaigns for Zara, Nike, Hero Backpack and others. She’s also been on several magazine covers. This kid means business!

Now, the young model is taking things to another level as a contestant on the E! Entertainment’s Snapshot series, ‘Camp Runway’. The show was shot in Cape Cod and Brookelin says the experience was nothing short of amazing, “”The best thing about being away from home at camp would have been how beautiful Cape Cod was and I definitely needed a mini vacation and help me learn how to be independent,” and Brookelin admits – a bit challenging, “The worst thing was probably being away from my mom for a week, for the first time ever, I missed her so much that week.”

The reality-type show on E!’s Snapchat channel chronicled the invitation-only summer camp that offered a curated crash course in high fashion modeling. The Snap Original docu-series followed along as 12 aspiring young models learned from fashion’s elite including agents, stylists and photographers. It helped the girls hone their runway and editorial skills, form lasting friendships and finally, compete for a sought after contract with fashion boutique agency Industry Model Management.

Now, Brookelin is finished up with the camp and the show – and even though she may not have won it all – she comes out a winner for sure, “My experience with my modeling career so far has been the best and I couldn’t ask for anything better. My time at camp was one of my favorite things I did this summer. I learned so much helpful advise and had an amazing time with my agent, Erin, and all the girls.” And she was signed by a modeling agency which is simply incredible!

For Brookelin, the sky’s the limit on her career and she plans to keep walking those runways, shooting those pictures, and loving every minute of it. She will surely never forget this camp experience that has taught her so much, “I made some amazing friends at camp, that will be my friends for the rest of my life.”

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
