It wasn’t our first time at Wine on Third and it certainly will not be our last! We decided to head to the Falls Eatery with a group of friends and family on a recent Saturday evening!
Sometimes, it can be a challenge to find a place everyone can agree on – not this time.
Wine on Third offers Tapas, dinner and wine in a very cool and friendly atmosphere. They have something for everyone. Truly.
The place was bustling, most every table in the small and cozy dining room was seated. Our reserved table was ready the moment we walked in.
The menu offers everything from soups & salads, strip steak dinner, and burgers to their tapas offerings like meatballs, mussels, and truffle fries. They also have a few pizzas to chose from.
We went with some of the favorites, according to our server.
The crispy artichokes were phenomenal! Served with a delicious red sauce.
Their pizza was absolutely delicious. We ordered a roasted vegetable pie that was hot and fresh. There was something special about the dough, just enough cheese and veggies and all of it cooked to perfection.
You can order full dinners or go the tapas route which we did. The food was all presented in a beautiful way.
I’ve never had anything like these… little beef-on-weck bites. The meat was tender, the roll salty goodness and the horseradish sauce was hot, hot, hot!
The hummus, eggplant and olive platter was wonderful as well!
The three orders of Shrimp Romesco we ordered went very quickly and everyone loved them.
Wine on Third is a hip place to hang out. The atmosphere and dress are casual – but the food is fine! Our service was perfection! Our server and bartender were friendly and knowledgeable. They checked in on us often, gave us some great advice and made sure we were happy. The owners even stopped by to check and make sure things were going well.
For dessert, we shared a Lemon Truffle Bomba – and WOW!
The wine list is full of the amenably drinkable bottles you want with this food!
The dining room is clean and cozy. They also have a small patio out front for those gorgeous summer evenings. There really is a New York City feel there.
Hats off to the folks at Wine on Third for building a unique and successful independent business and taking a chance on downtown Niagara Falls!
