UPDATE: They’ve surpassed $90 thousand dollars!!! Wow.
If you would like to make a donation in memory of Pancho Billa… here is your chance!
Pancho had said that he didn’t want flowers at his funeral – instead he wanted people to pack a backpack for a child.
His friends have made that possible. Del Reid of 26 Shirts and Jonah Javad have made it possible for all of us to give back, help a child and remember Pancho Billa.
For every $10 donated here: http://www.theteachersdesk.org/donate/ a needy child will get a backpack filled with $100 in school supplies.
To give a gift in memory of Ezra “Pancho Billa” Castro, please select #PANCHOSPACK when you make your donation.
From the looks of social media – this is already a HUGELY successful fundraiser. Of course, it’s no surprise to us.
What an amazing community – doing something so special to remember an amazing man.
