When I heard about sweet little Caleb Pelka, I just had to help get the word out.
Caleb is a little guy who suffers from a rare disease called Sturge-Weber Syndrome. It causes degeneration of the brain resulting in seizures as well as other symptoms like blindness and possible mobility impairment.
What Caleb really needs is a service dog. He is so excited to get a very special one, named Sage, who has been expertly trained to help with Caleb’s special needs and eventually recognize and warn for seizures.
Caleb’s grandparents – Bob & Deb Hurd and Mark & Barb Pelka are hosting a benefit to help their grandson raise the money to get his special friend to help him through life’s challenges.
