The Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club is providing free school age child care to our communities essential workforce. They are currently operating Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6 pm.Totally Buffalo

Their staff is working diligently to keep all of the children safe and learning through activities such as STEM, fine arts, physical education and much more.

Starting April 14th, they will be expanding their hours. Essential staff such as health care and first responders do not work standard business day hours. To help accommodate as many schedules as they can, their hours will be Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 9 pm; Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am to 6 pm.

“Despite having to cancel our major fundraiser and experiencing significant decreases and/or delays in receiving grant funding we feel this service is imperative to our community successfully beating COVID-19,” Club’s Chief Executive Officer, Rebecca Vincheski said, “Donations of the program supplies in our Amazon wish list will allow us to continue to provide high end educational based programming to all of the kids in our care during this difficult time.”

If you would like to help – here is a link to the club’s AMAZON WISH LIST – just click the “Shop Charity Lists” button that pops up. Items ordered will be shipped directly to the facility and used to help children in the community.

Thank you!

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
