We first told you about sweet Layla last week when a bride and groom were looking for the 5-year-old! Boy has this story blown up and we couldn’t be more excited. Now, we have a wonderful update!!! The gofundme raised enough for a trip to Disney. Layla’s mom told me, “I am over the moon excited. This is going to make all of Layla’s dreams come true.”
If you aren’t familiar with the story – here’s the deal.
Layla, 5, captured the hearts of Olivia and Caleb Spark as they were taking their wedding photos. The little girl, who has autism, kept calling Olivia – Cinderella!!! She moved the bride and groom – so much so they began a social media campaign to find her.
The photographer taking Olivia and Caleb Spark’s wedding photos just happened to capture some with Layla and the couple wanted to find her and share those special pictures.
It didn’t take long to find Layla.
Jessica Conley Lester told me it meant the world to her little girl, Layla. Layla just so happens to love, love, love those Disney Princesses. In fact, her mom tells me they are her favorite thing in the world. Jessica said they were at the park watching her niece have her senior photo shoot when all of a sudden, “When Layla spotted the bride she thought she was Cinderella. She kept calling them Cinderella and Prince Charming. She even called a few of the bridesmaids Ariel and Belle. The bride was so amazing with her. She took the time out of what she was doing 2 different times to talk with Layla. And trust me that made her so happy. She watched them drive away and just kept saying bye Cinderella have fun at the ball.”
The act of kindness can certainly go a long way. For Jessica and adorable Layla it sure has, “I’ve teared up many times over the past day just thinking about it. It meant so much to me that she would do that.”
A GoFundMe Page was set up for Layla to go on a trip to Walt Disney World to meet those beloved princesses and guess what – more than $11,000 has been raised!!!

Jessica says they hope to take the trip at the end of November!
We surely hope they all live happily ever after!
