We couldn’t love this more. Another reason to appreciate those who protect and serve us. They are a part of the community and care about those who live and work there.
On March 17th, Officer J. Salada of the Lewiston Police Department had a special rider. He volunteered to come in on his day off to help Laura Welder celebrate a special surprise 30th birthday.
Laura has downs syndrome and has always wanted to be a police officer. They stopped at Stuarts Sports in the Village where Stuarts gave her a Lewiston Police hat, free of charge.
The officer then pretended to respond to a call where she was surprised by friends and family. We’re very happy to have made her birthday special.
Way tongo Officer Salada. And Happy Birthday, Laura!!
