Disney on Ice Presents Frozen – skates into Key Bank Center

In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with any Disney on Ice show. They’re thrilling, the costumes are beautiful and the kids always love it. It is especially the case when Elsa and Anna – and Olaf – are involved.

We took Emma, 6 and Ella, 3 to see the show at Key Bank Center on Thursday night and they were amazed.

The unbelievable skating, incredible special effects – and of course, the music – all make you feel like you’ve gone to Arendelle.  Most of the shows we’ve seen in the past have been vignettes of different stories, this was pretty much the entire story of Frozen. From the beginning when Anna and Elsa were little girls – to the ending when those sweet sisters save one another.

The choreography, the costumes – the joy. What a show!

But there’s more… my girls loved the hosts, Mickey and Minnie – and their friends from Toy Story, Finding Dory, The Lion King and all of the beautiful princesses. (Although my 3-year-old couldn’t believe Donald was there without Daisy!)

All of the Frozen favorites were skating, jumping, and dancing – from Princess Anna and Queen Elsa to the lovable Olaf, rugged Kristoff and loyal Sven.

The show lasted just under two hours with a 15 or so minute intermission.

Parking was $10 in the HARBORCENTER Ramp – which is an easy walk. It is cold inside the arena, so sweaters are a must! Especially if your kids are like mine and want to wear fancy Princess dresses!

The show runs through Sunday. Ticket prices are $15 and up. You can find more information and buy tickets HERE.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
