The Totally Buffalo Store will be launching its inaugural Book Fair on Saturday, May 1st on Sheridan Drive in Amherst.

Having just opened its doors this past November, The Totally Buffalo Store is a one-stop shop for all things Buffalo and all things local. The store showcases stunning Buffalo-themed signs, shirts, books, foods, towels, jewelry, photographs, paintings and more – from over 70 independent WNY-based craft vendors, including local publishing house City of Light Publishing.

The Totally Buffalo Store Book Fair will be an indoor and outdoor event and will feature all local authors, many of whom will be on hand for book signings. Local authors scheduled for signings include the following:

Jennifer Beam – ‘Goodnight Buffalo’ (10:00am to Noon)
Sara A Simon – ‘The Chickadees and the Moon Above’ (10:00am to Noon)
Kathleen Dinan – ‘Kite to Freedom’ (10:00am to Noon)
Elizabeth Leader – ‘Discarded Ancestors.’ (10:00am to 2 pm)
Rick Falkowski – ‘History of Buffalo Music & Entertainment’ (Noon to 2:00pm)
Judy Bradbury – ‘The Mystery of the Barking Branches and the Sunken Ship’ (Noon to 2:00pm)

We have so much literary talent in Buffalo and this book fair is an opportunity for these local authors to showcase their work as well as a chance for folks to meet them and discover some great new books.

Pick up a gift for you mom or dad, a graduate, baby, friend, loved one or yourself!!!  Books make wonderful gifts. Books signed by the authors make them even more special!

The Totally Buffalo Store Book Fair will take place on Saturday, May 1st from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The Totally Buffalo Store is located in the Sheridan Center Plaza at 3328 Sheridan Drive in Amherst.

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! A local lifestyle website.

My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a Buffalo booster, an entrepreneur and a small business owner. I’m so glad you stopped by.  After 20 years in the buffalo media, I went out on my own to tell stories about the people, places, events and all-around fabulousness of this wonderful place we call home. Buffalo is different and so is this site. We are here to share stories, encourage kindness, and help make this a better place to live.

We’ll help those in need when we can through our charity arm, Totally Buffalo Cares.

We help local small businesses, artisans and vendors though our events and our Totally Buffalo Stores.

We’ll do all of this with a little help from friends in our community.
