Gliding Stars Presents 13th Annual Ice Show – a great time for the entire family!

Spread the love

Talk about a fun and special event. I’ve gone to the Gliding Stars Ice Show a few times in the past and have always been amazed by the grace and excitement on the ice!

The Gliding Stars ice show is fun for the whole family. This year, skaters will pay tribute to our community libraries and to many of the best loved books that can be found there! More than 100 skaters and 200 volunteers will participate in the ice show, which brings together people who have been skating at rinks in Hamburg and Niagara Falls, NY since October.  Yep, they’ve put in a ton of practice and hard work and they’re about to show it off!

The show will feature special guest skater, Carly Donowick. A former competitive ice dancer, Carly represented the United States in several international competitions and is two-time Pacific Coast champion. Carly is a native of West Seneca, NY. How cool is that?!

If you’ve never heard of Gliding Stars, their mission is quite simple. And quite amazing. “Gliding Stars is a non-profit organization that provides adaptive ice skating programs to individuals of all ages with physical, mental, and/or emotional challenges.”
