When you’re part of a singing family, you sing. That’s what Beth Boron says. And she should know – her family sings loud and proud.
I know this first hand from living a few doors down from this wonderful family. We moved two years ago, and still miss the Christmas Caroling they’d do each year around the neighborhood.
Here’s the deal:
Life is a song for this Grand Island family. They sing at family get-togethers, in church, and yes, around the holidays, “35 years ago, family and friends gathered to go Christmas caroling in the neighborhood. A treasured tradition was born, and we haven’t missed a year since,” Beth says, “The group of family and friends have changed, the neighborhoods have changed, but the joy of singing carols to our neighbors on a snowy winter night remains constant.”
It’s a gift for those singing, and for those listening.
“It’s a free gift of joy, hope, and love that is most often received with smiles and sometimes even Christmas treats! Once we even hopped in cars and went to the house of a friend who was in his last days. That was a special moment none of us will ever forget.”
The nuclear Boron family has performed for over 30 years at weddings, funerals, concerts, and church services, and has made 2 recordings. They now incorporate 3 generations and continue to enjoy singing whenever they can.
We are beyond thrilled that they will be singing at the Totally Buffalo 716MAS Festival!  You can catch them on Sunday, December 3rd at 1:15 p.m.
